Jaime Leal González Cup 2025: A Triumph of Sportsmanship and Team Spirit

After several months of intense competition, effort, and fair play, the Jaime Leal González Cup 2025 concluded on November 6. The tournament, which began on August 15, once again established itself as a key event for sportsmanship and healthy interaction among various educational institutions.

A High-Level Competition

This year’s edition featured massive participation, including delegations from well-known schools such as Gimnasio El Hontanar, San Angelo, Provinma, Juan Ramón Jiménez, Liceo Boston, Claustro Moderno, Montehelena, Liceo Sabana, and Gimnasio Pléyade.

In total, the tournament brought together:

  • 13 teams in Boys’ 8-a-side Soccer
  • 7 teams in Girls’ Volleyball
  • 6 teams in Boys’ Volleyball

Our representative teams from José Joaco showed admirable dedication, proudly defending our colors and raising the institution’s name high in every set and every play.

  • Girls’ Volleyball Champion: Liceo Boston | Runner-up: Gimnasio José Joaquín Casas
  • Boys’ Volleyball Champion: San Angelo

For Gimnasio José Joaquín Casas, hosting this cup is a cornerstone of our educational mission. Beyond the scoreboard, we celebrate the discipline, respect for opponents, and resilience demonstrated by each athlete.

We especially highlight the performance of our Girls’ Volleyball team, who secured second place on the podium, showcasing the technical skill and heart that define our institution.
