The spirit of fraternity and healthy competition filled our campus during the First Houses Gathering 2026. The Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Omega Houses came together to officially and powerfully welcome a new year of challenges, making it clear that although we are four teams, we beat with one single heart: that of José Joaco.
Identity, Leadership, and Mentorship
The day became the perfect setting to strengthen the bonds that define us. Each house experienced key moments that reinforced its structure and spirit:
Election of Captains: With great enthusiasm, the leaders were chosen to guide their peers with integrity and strategy throughout the year.
Mentorship: In a true gesture of brotherhood, senior members welcomed and “mentored” the new ones, ensuring that every student feels part of their house family from day one.
Values and Spirit: Each house’s colors and core values were recognized, closing with an explosion of energy as students proudly chanted the cheers that identify them.
Energy on Car-Free Day
Taking advantage of Car-Free Day, the houses demonstrated their commitment to the environment and healthy living. We joyfully participated in activities promoting physical activity, where the students’ enthusiasm was the fuel that energized the entire event.
We saw members of Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Omega working as a team, reflecting on environmental challenges and proposing creative solutions—proving that competition is also about building a better world together.
Four Houses, One Feeling
This first gathering leaves us with one certainty: this year’s competition will be on another level. The energy and pride shown by every student reaffirm that in our institution, being part of a house is much more than a name; it is a feeling that unites us.
“Four Houses, one single heart. Because José Joaco is not just a school—it is a feeling, a passion lived in every cheer and every challenge!”
Get ready for an unforgettable season!
